Saline City Parks The Parks and Recreation Department maintains 12 parks and open spaces totaling more than 190 acres. This includes neighborhood and community parks with playgrounds, play equipment, picnic areas, sports fields, basketball courts, boat launch ramps, restrooms, and other special facilities. Many miles of parkways, waterways and off-street bikeways are also maintained by this section. Additionally, Parks Services provides grounds maintenance for several city facilities and pedestrian areas including City Hall, Rentschler Farm and the Depot Mueseum. Salt Springs Park is underdevelopment.
