On a summer weekend, on the streets of Downtown Saline, a wide assortment of activities, attractions, and amusements will bring together people of all ages and interests. It’s a super hometown celebration – Saline’s Summerfest.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off December with the “official” lighting of the giant Christmas Tree at the KeyBank corner with this family-friendly Tree Lighting Ceremony.  A short program outside with music and light refreshments sponsored by KeyBank.  All are welcome!  Free.

Saline Community Fair

Wednesday, September 2 through Monday, September 7. Old-fashioned community fair at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds features agricultural and craft exhibits, livestock judging, horse shows, talent contests, tractor pulls, carnival rides, Miss Saline pageant, a demolition derby, live music, and more.

Weber-Blaess Ice Cream Social

Sunday, August 23 – A day of old fashioned fun at the one room schoolhouse featuring a variety of activities for the entire family including reenactments, traditional games and crafts, contests, bucket brigade, magician/balloon artist, music and, of course, ice cream and hot dogs ($).
